WEEK 8 UPDATE – BACK AFTER THE BREAK

18/10/2021

After a weekend off for the International Break, the MicroNational League Cup returned on Friday for a four day run of games, which proved a testing time for the MicroNational Managers.

So how did we all do? Let’s take a look…

The top of the league remain static with the New Weddington Isles adding to their goal tally to hold on to their top spot, closely followed by Shedingeh in second place.

Lundenwic Lions are rooted in third place but add to their points with an impressive 40 points compared to 16 last week, whilst Lehmark FC Legends hang on to fourth place with an average 26 points to cement their spot above the Novascurra Jesters.

Next up is the middle of the league, with the pack chasing up the higher order:- the United Mathisian Kingdom rise up to 24 points stay in sixth, with The Isle of Lithua stuck on seventh but managing an impressive haul of 36 points, almost doubling their tally from last week. Following closely before behind are Pikeland Holy Crusader and the Principality of Sealand who again stay put in eighth and ninth respectively with average points mid-20s scores.

In tenth we finally see some movement with Maslatonia moving up a place to leapfrog Espoona who drop to eleventh.

And finally, H.E.R. Saints remain glued to the bottom of the league with a lowly score of 14 points and looking like likely contenders for the wooden spoon on 164 points – nearly half of New Weddington’s total at the top of the table.

Arsenal play Crystal Palace today but I’m assuming they won’t be making a dent on the scores, thus the early update, and with Week 9 starting on Friday I hope you had a chilled International Break as you only have a short rest this week before next kick off!! Enjoy!!!
