So what did Week 27 have in store? Well on the face of it the league ranking are pretty unchanged but looking at the points scores we see a tale of teams through the comp gaining and losing ground to those above and below them…. It all makes for a final few weeks of sudden league changes and tactical use of whatever transfers you have left (remember, you don’t get points for hanging on to transfers!!)
So, top half of league remains the same in ranking, with that pesky Shedingeh holding on to top spot with a decent 59 points, however still in pursuit The New Weddington Warriors top scored on 70 points to cut the lead to 23… third spot Lundenwic Lions fall back after a high score last week to a more average tally of 50.
Lehmark FC Legends gain another eight points on 3rd spot but is it too little too late? It’s a funny old game, don’t forget 😉 – although Novascurra Jesters will be eyeing 4th place with a decent showing last week.
Isle of Lithua are in 6th place having made NO transfers yet. Isle of Lithua are ALWAYS in 6th place having made NO transfers yet. At least they’re consistent.
On to the bottom 6 and Espoona had a bit of a mare with a disappointing 25 points, leaving them looking over their should at United Mathisian Kingdom – who climb from 9th to 8th, just 7 points behind Espoona.
This allows Pikeland Holy Crusader to jump into 8th from 9th , at the expense of H.E.R. Saints whose 17points see them drop 2 places to 10th. Maslatonia keep their heads above water in 11th place thanks to the Principality of Sealand – 8 points leaving them stuck in bottom place clutching their wooden spoon yet again. Oh dear.
