SATURDAY 16TH OCTOBER
Watford 12:30 Liverpool
The first game after the IB kicks off at 12:30 and is Watford versus Liverpool at Vicarage Road. Watford are under new management again, this time Claudio 'Tinkerman' Ranieri is in the hot seat. King and Sierralta are injury doubts. For Liverpool, Trent is hopefully back but there are fresh doubts over Jota and Alisson plus Fabinho will be back late from international duty.
Aston Villa 15:00 Wolverhampton Wanderers
At 3pm there are five games, the first of which features Aston Villa against Wolverhampton Wanderers. Villa are 10th and lost last time out against Spurs. Bailey is probably still injured plus Luiz and Martinez will be back late after the IB. Wolves are up to 12th after back-to-back wins, Hwang scored twice against Newcastle. Trincao possibly out due to Covid.
Leicester City 15:00 Manchester United
Next up, Leicester City v Manchester United at the King Power. Neither side has lived up to expectations so far this season, both teams recorded draws last time out. United rested Ronaldo against Everton but he should be reinstated today. United old boy, Jonny Evans, could be back for the Foxes. Varane is out for Man U but Rashford may be back.
Manchester City 15:00 Burnley
Now we have Manchester City taking on Burnley at the Ethiad. City are undefeated in their last 5 games and have had a few tricky games recently. Jesus has been away on IB and Gundogan may be back from injury but Torres is likely out. Burnley come into this off the back of two draws but will be missing Ben Mee this week due to Covid. Gossip that Sterling wants to swap Manchester for sunnier shores, so keep an eye on him if he’s one of yours.
Norwich City 15:00 Brighton & Hove Albion
Bottom side Norwich are up against Brighton in the next of the 3pm games. Norwich got their first point of the season last time out, drawing with Burnley. Cantwell may be back for this one. Brighton are still in the top 6 after drawing last time out. Not sure if Bissouma will feature in this game, he's back fit but been in a bit of trouble lately.
Southampton 15:00 Leeds United
The last of the 3 o'clock games is Southampton v Leeds United at Saint Mary's. The Saints are just above the bottom three but have suffered back-to-back losses recently. Che Adams is out injured for this one and James Ward-Prowse is banned for the next three games. 16th place Leeds will be missing Bamford still and Raphinha is due back late after the International Break.
Brentford 17:30 Chelsea
The final Saturday game kicks off at 5.30pm and is a London derby between Brentford and Chelsea. The Bees are in 7th place, pretty impressive for a newly promoted side., picking up 7 points from a possible 9. Ajer missed the last game. High flying Chelsea are top of the league but have injury doubts over James, Kante, Lukaku and Rudiger.
SUNDAY 17TH OCTOBER
Everton 14:00 West Ham United
Just the two games this Sunday, the first of which kicks of a 2pm and features Everton against West Ham. Everton lie in 5th place after a run of good results. Will Calvert-Lewin or Richarlison be fit for this one? The Hammers are 9th, having only picking up 5 points from a possible 15 recently. Coufal may be out injured.
Newcastle United 16:30 Tottenham Hotspur
At 4:30pm, Newcastle versus Tottenham Hotspur at a bouncing St James Park. Newcastle have new owners but the same old familiar face is still in the dugout. Will the take over see a change of fortunes for the Magpies? Wilson could return. Spurs got a win over Villa last time out. Kane was in action for England but didn't score and a few others have been away late on international duty.
MONDAY 18TH OCTOBER
Arsenal 20:00 Crystal Palace
The Monday night fixture is a London derby between Arsenal and Crystal Palace. Arsenal’s form has taken an up-turn recently, recording 3 wins and a draw in their last four games. Xhaka out and a doubt over Martinelli's fitness. 14th place Crystal Palace will still be missing Eze and there are calls from the fans for Olise to start over Ayew.
