Well, hopefully you had chance to catch your breath after Gameweek 26 followed hot on the heels of Gameweek 25! You can breathe normally now, so let’s see what Week 26 had in store for the MicroFootballers…
Shedingeh ensure their safety at the top of the league with an impressive haul of 73 points, stretching their lead over New Weddington Warriors form 15 to 34 points. New Weddington could only manage a middling 54 points this week so are seeing Shedingeh pull away ahead and have a resurgent Lundenvic Lions (top scoring on 85 points) growing closer in the rear view mirror…
Lehmark FC Legends are still in the top 6 mix gaining a decent 64 points to cement place on 4th with Novascurra Jesters faltering on 35 points in 5th and, of course, the Isle of Lithua scoring 51 points to leave them- where else? – in 6th spot.
On to lower half of league and Espoona score a decent 64 to hang onto the 7th place they nicked off the United Mathisian Kingdom, leaving UMK down in 9th for the second week running, and H.E.R. Saints remaining in 8th for another week.
And at the bottom three there’s no change- Pikeland Holy Crusader remain in 10th though another extra 4 points would have given them 9th spot and 14 would have raised them to 8th…
Maslatonia remain in 11th from a high of 7th not long ago and might need to tactical transfers to get out of the relegation zone, they currently ony have one team beneath them: yes, you guessed it – Sealand in 12th and receiving a 21 point wooden spoon.
Hope you’re still enjoying the league – plenty of games coming up in next few weeksand plenty of points to be scored to see some drastic changes in the league before the Trophy is awarded. Next games are on Thursday 10th March with 4 evening games – look out for preview of Gameweek 27 soon!
By the way, did I mention the Men’s Aussie Rules Tipping game (MicroAFL) starts on March 16th? You don’t need to know the rules, it’s fun, free, easy to manage and there’s a league winner’s prize. What have you got to lose?? We are looking to get into at least 10-12 teams to make a dedicated MicoNational League, have 6 already but the more the merrier. Check out more information here:
