Top three see the usual suspect but the points tell a different sorry from last week – leaders Shedingeh fail to follow up on their previous top score which an average 39, whilst New Weddington on 71 points behind have a big ask to win the cup, although they’ve bucked their ideas up with a decent 53 points. However Lundenvic Lions – top scorers this week by far on 71 points – have a real change of taking Silver, if not the Cup.
4th to 6th spots are looking a bit average – all needing a transfer superchange to move out of their comfort zone – Lehmark FC Legends could mathematically grab a Bronze spot, though we’re getting to the stage of seeing the season out in the top half as primary goal – same goes for Novascurra Jesters in 5th and Isle of Lithua in – of course! – 6th.
Lower down the league we have Espoona in 7th place, scoring 50 points to pull away from H.E.R Saints in 8th place, leading a tail end of 20 point-ish scorers made up of Pikeland Holy Crusader and United Mathisian Kingdom – both with similar scores but both with their sights set on Espoona’s spot being only 4 points behind.
Not too far off we have Maslatonia with 24 points and just 16 points behind Pikeland Holy Crusader and United Mathisian Kingdom, and finally the Principality of Sealand are looking to be well placed to win the coveted wooden spoon for their collection – with 12 points and around 850 points off winning the Cup !!
Right nearly there – just keep your eyes on the prize (whatever prize you are aiming for), and remember: think tactics to cover absentee players, use extra games where transfers allow and HAVE FUN.
PS: MicroSports Questionnaire heading your way soon, please take few minutes to complete this – we’d love to hear your feedback, good or bad – and it is all useful in planning next year’s MicroNational Football League Cup which we hope to be bigger and better than ever, next season.
