Lord Watitune just had time for a few selfies before tomorrow’s International Day of People with Disability exhibition – a joint event between The New Weddington Isles and Belco Arts IGNITE program. His Lordship and other New Weddington representatives will be wearing more formal attire at the event tomorrow which will feature Yvette Berry MLA, Deputy Chief Minister of the Australia Capital Territory.
We are hoping for a good turnout to the event, which will be catered by Community Housing Canberra who are also providing use of the venue, the Gungaderra Homestead, and features a specially commissioned portrait of Lord Watitune by artist John Hyatt, Professor of Fine Arts at Liverpool John Moore University, UK.
A great example of the micro and macro national world’s working together for the good of all. Updates to follow.
