Having now finalised the physical instruments of the New Weddington Isles (being the New Weddington Groat – see here for details) – we are delighted to announce the acquisition of a secure facility for the storage of our stock of this currency.
This compromises a lockable chest made of sturdy teak and with traditional decorative metal inlays. It will be used for the storage of NWI bank notes, coins, bullion reserves and valuable state artefacts including Medals of Order and Chains of Office.
This will form the embodiment of the Treasury holdings in the NWI’s Prime Consul in Australia until such a time as the New Weddington Isles establishes a physical presence on the former Royal Company’s Islands upon which it maintains a claim. At this point the Treasury holding will be transferred to an appropriate location with the Manorial Building.
