In December 2020 the New Weddington Isles was pleased to become a signatory to the Lehmark Convention on Micronational Professionalism and Standards.
The primary purpose of this Convention is to better codify and standardize what is and should be considered respectful, and professional behaviours and attitudes among micronations and all micronationalists.
Secondarily, this Convention is to better coordinate the relationships between genuine micronations, without infringing upon sovereignty or independence of those signatory to this Convention, those who have Ratified this Convention, or respect the nature and words of this Convention.
The final mission of this Convention is to better resolve disputes, coordinate enforcement of dispute resolution, and to open this method of resolution, to all micronations across Earth, regardless of ratification or recognition of this Convention, and solely in the good faith of ensuring stable and peaceful relations among all micronations everywhere.
