Did you know that today 12th May is INTERNATIONAL NURSES DAY? Whilst the incredible work of Nurses around the world has recently been seen in their service during the Covid-19 pandemic, they have a long standing history of selflessness going back centuries.
New Weddington has a special place in its heart for Nurses, and indeed during World War 1 the original Manor and Castle in England were converted to a Red Cross Hospital for wounded servicemen.
