Constitution of the New Weddington Isles
I, John Richard Brookes, being Lord Watitune, Lord of the Manor of all land, governmental instruments and territories hereafter known as the New Weddington Isles, hereby decree:
That from the day of Declaration of Establishment (also to be known annually hereafter as Renewal Day) on 30th March 2020, the New Weddington Isles are declared independent of any other State or other external force and further to this independence all matters both national and international have been determined solely by the Lord of the Manor as duly empowered.
I do now declare:
That the current factors now dictate that it is due time to place in force the attached formal Constitution of the Manor of the New Weddington Isles better to establish the mission and vision of the New Weddington Isles and the instruments of government to be implemented to achieve its key aim, that being:
That the Lord of the Manor claims the physical territory formerly known as The Royal Company’s Islands, for the establishment of the landed presence of the nation of The New Weddington Isles.[The Royal Company’s Islands – hereafter known as The New Weddington Isles – sits outside any existing territorial waters (the nearest sovereign overseas territory being Tasmania, Australia, 940 miles to the northeast) and has never been the subject of a national claim on any previous explorations of the area].
