After spending much of October trailing the Empire of Lehmark in the double-header tournament, New Weddington have pulled some convincing performances out of the bag to take the lead in the 4th week.
The double header between the two micronations (Lehmark managed by Minister of Sports and Science: Ann Crowhurst, Countess of Salop) takes the form of a tipping competition for the Women's Big Bash League - a hugely popular interstate Twenty20 competition in Australia. Sadly, there is currently no full 'fantasy manager' format for the Women's game (hopefully next season!), though New Weddington will be fielding a team in an online league for the Men's game commencing December 5th.
The Womens' MicroCricket tournament concludes on November 27th with the two teams still close at New Weddington on 24 points and Lehmark on 19...so plenty to play for!
