"Despite being currently in the thick of the MicroNations Soccer League Cup, as New Weddington’s national sport is Cricket we can’t resist a quick side competition… With England cricket season and IPL over for this year, the Aussie Big Bash league starts this Thursday – it’s a nice simple T20 format where each state plays each other in a single league. It tends to quite a few international players too from England & India and the Men’s format starts December 5th.
"The Women's BBL is very popular too and starts Thursday 14th October!!! The Women’s Fantasy comp is a tipping game not a full manager’s format: you just tip which team you think will win each game – a point for each correct tip. The first Women’s game is 9.40am on 14th UK time, 7.40pm Aus time, it only takes 5 minutes per tipping day, it’s free and there’s PRIZES!!
