Ups and Downs in MicroAFL Round 4

11/4/2022

Okay, Round 4 done and dusted – have our international friends got their heads around football in the antipodes yet? Well… a mixed bag 😉 for those needing to boost their winning tips you can click on the “Form Guide” tab under each listed game for the week and get an at-a-glance overview of team form, last 5 win/losses etc… worth a look.

So on with the AFL League and there’s still just as point in it between league toppers Westarctica and Shedingeh. This is shaping up to be an exciting rivalry and the two teams swapped placed several times over the course of the weekend.

Lehmark Sports had a top scoring weekend, with 6 correct tips boosting them above HER Crusaders who move down to 4th with a lowly 3 points… New Weddington Isles also drop as place to 5th thanks to the lowest score of the week with just 2 points.

Woodlandia stick on 6th spot, though they are equal on points with New Weddington only separated by a slightly worse margin.

Hutt River have finally woken up and realised they are in a competition, showing their intentions with a joint highest score of 6 points. Great for them but not so good for the Begley Commonwealth – still plenty of time to pick up points but best to build a solid foundation early days, so time to brush up on Aussie Football and checkout those Form Guides😉

And bottom – again – we have the Principality of Sealand. Not content with being in wooden spoon position at bottom of the MicroNations Football Cup, they seem keen to add to their collection here! Early days but need to do better or risk losing the pack above them…

So, we see how just a point here and there can make all the difference at this stage, but as the pack starts to widen out later in the season you need to make sure you don’t get left behind! Good luck, do your research and ENJOY!
