After a patchy run of results at the tail end of the AFL season the Warriors won when it mattered – beating 11th placed "IAmLegends" in the Quarter Final to effectively bypass the Semi Finals eliminators next week and go straight to the Preliminary Finals the following week, just one Game away from the overall Final.
A spokesperson for the Isles said: “it’s been a real roller coaster of a season this year, with Covid affecting the start of the season and even leading to a massive reshuffling of fixtures in the weekend just gone. Whilst our results have been patchy at times, we are finishing strongly; we have missed out on elimination and we now have a real chance now of taking away the Grand Final trophy; with the benefit of a week off next week – and the English Premier Online Soccer Competition is on the horizon too; so plenty of Sporting action still to come whatever the outcome!”
