You may have seen from our posts that we have been focussing on the Sports & Participation of element of the New Weddington strategy over the past few months,
We intend to re-run our MicroSports program next year whilst we now move on to the Community Engagement phase of our yearly Plan.
BUT DON’T DESPAIR JUST YET!! You have one last chance to win yourself some silverware for your nation with MicroAFL - the Men’s Aussie Rules Football.
If you’re worried that you don’t know anything about Aussie Rules, or the amount of time you’ll need to commit to competing, FEAR NOT! Unlike the Soccer league all you need to do each week is check the fixture list and click against the team you think will win that week; based on how well they are doing in the league. You can even get the % likelihood of each winning team based on league games results.
We’re hoping to boost the number of MicroNational teams in the MicroAFL Men's tipping league this season - with a MINIMUM of 10 teams – it would be GREAT if you could spread the word you to your own contacts through whatever channels you use..
To join all you need to do is:
1. Click on the link below to Register,
2. Fill in your details (your name in registration will be your Team Name).
3. Select TEAM TIPS in ‘Tipping’ page (link at top),
4. click on ‘Comps’ page (link at top)
5. Click ‘Join a Comp’ and then type the MicroAFL comp code - 6LEL9D37 - in the ‘Enter Comp Code or Name’ box.
6. ‘MicroAFL League 2022’ will appear in comp list, click on ‘Join’ button to right of this.
7. YOU’RE IN! From here you can make tips and view the MicroAFL league ladder
All you need to do now is remember to make your weekly tips before first game of each Round, and check to league to see where you are in the race for the MicroAFL 2022 WINNER’S PRIZE!
First men's AFL Tipping game is 16th March so plenty of time to register and get your tips in early.
